Please read this policy carefully before confirming your booking. By securing your place, you acknowledge and accept the terms outlined below.

Because each Camino is planned in advance and involves coordination with independent hosts and service providers, cancellations and changes affect multiple parties.

1. Cancellation Policy

All cancellations are subject to a 10% non-refundable administration fee, regardless of the notice period. This fee covers planning, coordination, communication, and administrative work already undertaken.

Refunds are calculated as follows:

1.1 60 Days or More Prior to Departure

You will receive a 90% refund (10% administration fee retained).

1.2 Between 60 and 30 Days Prior to Departure: You will receive a 70% refund.

1.3 Between 30 and 14 Days Prior to Departure: You will receive a 30% refund.

1.4 14 Days or Less Prior to Departure: No refund will be issued.

2. Peninsula Route – Special Conditions

The Peninsula Route requires full upfront payment to secure accommodation bookings. Many hosts on this route operate under strict cancellation terms.

For Peninsula Route bookings:

The standard refund structure may not apply.

Refunds are subject to individual host accommodation policies.

Any third-party commitments already paid on your behalf may be non-refundable.

Where funds cannot be recovered from hosts or third-party providers, those amounts cannot be refunded.

3. Rescheduling Policy

Rescheduling is permitted within the same calendar year, subject to availability and host approval.

3.1 60 Days or More Prior to Departure: Rescheduling is permitted with no penalty, however a 5% administration fee will apply to cover adjustment and rebooking costs.

3.2 Between 60 and 14 Days Prior to Departure: A 10% rescheduling fee applies.

3.3 14 Days or Less Prior to Departure: Rescheduling is not permitted and no refund will be issued.

4. Important Notes

All cancellations and rescheduling requests must be submitted in writing.

Refunds, where applicable, will be processed once third-party recoveries have been confirmed.

If a pilgrim chooses to shorten their Camino or withdraw once the journey has begun, no refund will be issued for unused services.

Travel and cancellation insurance is strongly recommended.

The Camino relies on small, rural hosts and advance coordination. Late cancellations directly impact these partners. We ask pilgrims to book thoughtfully and respectfully.

By confirming your booking, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and accepted this Returns, Cancellation, and Refund Policy.
