Posted on Tilla SwartTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Camino Organizers Thank you so much for the best week of my life. Faziel Adams was the best tour guide. He was punctual, took our safety into consideration and also an expert with a lot to share. The guesthouses were excellent! Very peaceful experience for the mind and positive thoughts. This camino is different the other Camino (like Camino de Santiago); less pilgrims, more alone time, homes cooked meals, nicer accommodations, and it is located in a magical place like South Africa. During my farm Cape Camino, the weather was perfect. Wish I had more time, therefore I can't wait to do more. Until next Cape Camino, next route, next friendships.....Cheers!!Posted on Fouche BurgersTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Morning all Elize and I haven't stopped talking about our experience. We are still processing it and will be for a long time. It was absolutely great. Every moment of it. It was a well organized Camino. We enjoyed all the chaperones and hosts, and every place we stayed had a special memory and place in our hearts. The Camino benefits us individually and as a couple with growth and development. We enjoy every moment with the trio girls and foster special memories in our hearts. Thank you so much for a life enriching adventure.Posted on Gill SharwoodTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I can't recommend this highly enough. We walked the first 6 days from Wellington. Peggy and her team ensured a smooth journey with plenty of support. We met wonderful people and were warmly welcomed wherever we went. There is no shortage of food, hot showers and comfy beds allowing you to just concentrate on the walking, thinking and soaking in of the beautiful surroundings. We trained a lot before hand and were glad we had, it definitely requires digging deep at times. I'll definitely be back to to the next leg of the Cape Camino!Posted on Lana PedroTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. My best friend and I walked 4 days of the Cape Camino route from Hermon to Tulbagh. Along the way we were swept up in the Camino hospitality and generosity of chaperones and hosts - giving of their time and opening up their homes to us. The scenery and routes of our walks were so beautiful and although some roads never seemed to end, we were always greeted at the other end by smiling faces, a comfortable bed, a hot shower and the energy to do it all again the next day. We cannot wait to more of the route next year. A big thank you to all the wonderful organising behind the scenes by Gabrielle and Peggy. We LOVED our experience so much!Posted on Joanne CooperTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Thoroughly enjoyed my 6 day walk down the beautiful West Coast. Hosts meals and organization was superb. Highly recommendedPosted on Dagmar HubbardTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. What a well organized walk! The hosts were so incredibly accommodating and friendly. The surroundings were just gorgeous. The walks were tough as the distances were more than expected, but that is part of the challenge. I will be back next year!Posted on Abbi MastersTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Walking a leg of the Cape Camino was an absolutely wonderful experience. A slow and gentle way to experience and engage with your surroundings. An opportunity to spend time with yourself. Loads of fresh air, a nice push on the muscles, healthy body and mind. I highly recommend doing as many days as you can!Posted on StreetSmart South AfricaTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. What a fantastic experience it was walking the Cape Camino from Riebeek Kasteel to Gouda. Agreed by all, walking the Cape Camino is a thought provoking, decluttering, pondering-life-type of break-away! Heartfelt gratitude to Cape Camino and every pilgrim who joined us! The Cape Camino should definitely be on your bucket list.
