Route 11 is the Full Route Cape Camino, a long-distance walking pilgrimage covering approximately 700km across the Western Cape of South Africa. This extended Camino journey connects all major Cape Camino sections, including the Riebeek Valley, Tulbagh and Golden Fields, Sandveld, Wild West Coast, West Coast villages and the Cape Town Peninsula. The full route can take up to 40 walking days to complete and follows a combination of farm roads, mountain paths, coastal beaches, village streets and nature reserve trails.
The Full Route Camino is designed for experienced multi-day walkers seeking a comprehensive Western Cape pilgrimage experience. Terrain varies from flat agricultural landscapes to sandy coastal stretches and steep mountain ascents, requiring a good level of walking fitness and long-distance endurance. Accommodation is arranged through local hosts, guest farms, village homestays and small lodges along the route, with Camino Lite and Camino Plus options available in selected sections. Route 11 can be walked consecutively as a continuous journey or completed in stages over time, allowing pilgrims to experience the full geographic, cultural and environmental diversity of Cape Camino.
All cancellations are subject to a 5% administration fee, regardless of notice period. This fee covers planning, coordination, and administrative work already undertaken.
60 days or more prior to departure: 95% refund (5% admin fee retained)
Between 60 and 30 days prior: 90% refund
Between 30 and 14 days prior: 30% refund
14 days or less prior to departure: No refund
Please note: Peninsula route accommodation requires full upfront payment to secure bookings. For these routes, the standard refund policy may not apply and refunds are subject to host terms.

14 days or less prior to departure: No rescheduling and no refund
Rescheduling is permitted within the same calendar year, subject to availability.

A 50% deposit payment is available when you choose the EFT (bank transfer) option at checkout. This will secure your dates. The balance is due 30 days before your Camino begins.
