Route development and day walkers
Support Cape Camino route development and join for the day's walk.
Check the book page and Facebook Forum group to see when pilgrims are walking.
Order your Cape Camino passport and t-shirt which will be sent to the host where you start.
For each additional day you choose to walk there is a R300 admin/chaperone/route development fee.
If you already have your passport or have walked Cape Camino before, you qualify to pay R300 only per day.
Our team will connect you with other pilgrims and chaperones on a Whatsapp group. Please be respectful of their departure times.
Sort out your own logistics (eg. getting there, meals etc.)
Add your buff, bag-tag, and other branded items, to look the part of a pilgrim.
If you are not planning to walk, but would like to contribute to route development, purchase this pass and gift it to a friend.
Important
- This experience is completely up to you and you are responsible for all your logistics.
- This order includes your Cape Camino passport and t-shirt.
- R300 per day is due for each additional day you choose to walk.
- Day walkers can join other pilgrims if there is availability. Max 12.
- There is limited signage on the route. We and the hosts are working on this. You are encouraged to add to the signage as you go, please get in touch if you'd like to do so.
